Today marks the beginning of the BSA Rookie League preseason. Clubs have received word of their 2055 schedule and preparations are already under way. Spring training, evaluation and preseason exhibition games are just a few of the tasks that await a general manager's attention as teams start setting into motion their championship plans.
Please don't forget to set your scouting budget and player development budget during the pre-season!

Flores Will Play Football Instead of Baseball

Castle Rock multi-sport star Jorge Flores has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his football career.
Despite his love of baseball, Flores says he likes his prospects on the gridiron better than the diamond.
"It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Captains first baseman.
Flores, considered to be a standout wide receiver, is projected as a late 1st or 2nd round pick in the upcoming NFL draft.
