Mario Concepción had an answer for everything the Roy Eagle Squadron threw at him today at Eagle Squadron Ballpark. The Quincy center fielder went 5-for-7 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Doughboys on top, 31-2.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Concepción said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

Mario Concepción walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Lucero Trevino in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Suárez in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Miguel Suárez in the 9th.
