Eagle Squadron Pitching Ravaged by Morales
Ottawa shortstop Jesús Morales had a big day at Eagle Squadron Ballpark today against the Roy Eagle Squadron. The 21-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-7 and led the Fat Cats to a 28-2 triumph over Roy.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Morales said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Jesús Morales hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

Morales is hitting .385 this season with 9 home runs, 40 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 67 hits in 174 at-bats.
