Koch Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
Darby Koch had an answer for everything the Scottsdale Jackies threw at him at Illinois Riverfront Park. The El Paso left fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Diablos a win, 17-9.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Koch said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

Darby Koch doubled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Gabriel Ramos in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and doubled in the 8th.

This season, Koch is swinging the bat at a .335 rate with 63 hits in 188 at-bats. To date he has hit 11 home runs, scored 33 runs and driven in 55.
