The Dragons downed the Darth Whalers 15-6 today at Shaolin Grounds as Desmond Rider exploded for 5 hits.

"A couple times, I got a pretty good pitch to hit," the Wrexham shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview. "A couple times, I had to work for it. But I think they underestimated my abilities."

Desmond Rider singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Ismael Núñez in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Hanson in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Curt McPherson in the 7th.
