Hot Sauce Pitching Ravaged by Crosby
|
Kingston Knights right fielder George Crosby really lit up the Washington DC Hot Sauce with a 5-hit barrage today at Marshall Field at Carter Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Knights to a 11-6 triumph.
He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
George Crosby singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Larry Kendall in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 10th.
Crosby is batting .355 this season in 105 games with 21 home runs, 82 RBIs and 111 runs scored. He has 152 hits in 428 at-bats.
