With a 16-5 win to wrap up the series at Ballpark of Grand Rapids HS, the Des Moines HS Rockies have eliminated the Grand Rapids HS Summit in the Top 4 Round and move on to the HS Title Round.

Des Moines HS controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 3-0 sweep.

Kenny Morgan led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .417 batting average, along with a .650 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 10 runs.

"We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish."

The Des Moines HS Rockies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bishop Verot HS Mudcats - Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints series. Temiskaming District Secondary School leads the series 2 games to 0. The HS Title Round schedule will be announced after the Top 4 Round finishes.
