Already down in the Final Four, the Yonkers Yetis put on their best show, beating the Seattle Admirals by a final score of 7-5 today. Mamoun Sifiye was special. He was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Yonkers now trails Seattle 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Manny Prates came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing Seattle pitcher Manuel Santos, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Yonkers on top, 6-5.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Sifiye. "I like it."

Game 6 is scheduled for Wednesday at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace in Yonkers.
