Don Miller victimized Oliver Ames HS Tigers hurlers, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the High School CL record books.

In an epic hitting spree at Carbines Ballpark, the Fort Worth HS third baseman went downtown again and again, leading the Turkeys to a win, 30-5. He went 4-for-6, drove in 14 runs and scored 4 times in the historic game.

"The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it."

Don Miller hit a three-run home run off Andrés Madrid in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Andrés Madrid in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Andy Orpen in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Edmonds in the 5th and flied out in the 6th.
