Tsui Hits 2 home runs in Wave Win
The Maui Wave beat the Phoenix Firebirds, 12-7, at Rainbow Stadium. Maui third baseman Yifu Tsui had an outstanding performance. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 9 runs and scored twice. Manuel Sonego earned the win for Maui. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 6 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 4-1. The 6th-place Firebirds have dropped 4 straight games.

With Maui trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Tsui hit a fastball from Richard Clark for a 3-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Wave ahead, 3-2.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Tsui.
