Super Swinger -- Crawford Slams 5 Hits Friday, September 29th , 2051 Bobby Crawford did a number on the Wave in the Boston 7-6 victory today, and the number was 5. The Rebels right fielder banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Rebels Park to lead his club past the Maui Wave. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Bobby Crawford singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, tripled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
