Baysox Move on to Elite Eight Saturday, October 7th , 2051 It was a sweet sweep for the Charm City Baysox as they eased past the Maui Wave to advance to the Elite Eight. Charm City won the final game by a 8-3 count and the series 3-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said John Church, who was named series MVP. For the series, Church hit .462 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Charm City Baysox will play against the Cervezas de Miami in the next round.
