Moreno Slugs 300th Home Run Friday, June 8th , 2046 Maui's 4-3 victory over Phoenix was highlighted by Luis Moreno's 300th career home run. His teammates congratulated him at home plate after he circled the bases. "I didn't see all of them out there," Moreno said with a chuckle, "until I rounded third base." He added sheepishly: "It was only a home run. It's not like I won us a World Series!" In 6 at-bats the Wave first baseman collected 3 hits in his historic game, scored 1 run, and had 1 RBI.
