Moreno Silences Nebraska, 10-0 Sunday, May 3rd , 2054 The North Carolina Tar Heels shut out the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 10-0, behind the strong pitching of Raúl Moreno. Moreno surrendered only 2 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 5. Following the last out, Moreno appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Nebraska manager Dave Wilson, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Moreno's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Cornhuskers skipper would not comment on the exchange but, at the Tar Heels press conference, Moreno confirmed that it was regarding the celebration. "He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Moreno said. "And I told him he was being a lousy loser," North Carolina manager Jim Spears added.
