Tigers Tim Williams Swings Hot Bat, HSCL Winner Monday, May 8th , 2051 It was announced today by the High School CL that Oliver Ames HS third baseman Tim Williams had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .536 batting average, 15 hits and 2 home runs. Williams also racked up 7 RBIs and scored 10 runs. This year Williams has socked 47 hits in 129 at-bats for a .364 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .442 pace and his totals also include 32 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
