Rockies Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, May 9th , 2051 The Des Moines HS Rockies will have a "long time to dwell" on this season's failure to get into the postseason, according to first baseman Germán Padilla. Still in the chase in the season's final days, the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention earlier today. This is the club's 9th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2042. In total, the Rockies have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rockies have only made the playoffs once. |
