Durán Throws 3-0 Shutout Sunday, April 18th , 2055 In an impressive outing, Rickey Durán blanked the Madawaska Valley HS Wolves 3-0. "I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Durán, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion. "It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took." The Joliet HS hurler held Madawaska Valley HS scoreless, allowed 4 hits, chalked up 10 strikeouts and yielded 3 walks.
