John Wright Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, May 9th , 2051 When Grand Rapids HS reliever John Wright was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Summit-Bass game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Wright had sustained a torn rotator cuff and will be out for about 13 months. This year Wright has 8 relief appearances with no saves, 0-1 season record and a 8.82 ERA. He has hurled 16.1 innings, given up 20 hits, struck out 19 and walked 10. Opposing clubs have batted .299 against the Grand Rapids HS reliever. |
