High School NL Eastern Division Won: Wasps on Top Saturday, May 13th , 2051 The Huntsville HS Wasps have held off the opposition and are High School NL Eastern Division champions. It was certainly no easy task as the club had a tough challenge for the division crown throughout the year, but in the end they have prevailed for the franchise's 2nd division title. "You can't get complacent when the standings are as close as they are, so our guys have been focused," manager Jesús Morán said of his team's triumph. "We're going to celebrate this one, that's for sure." The club will be going for its 1st HS Title Round and optimism is running high. "Why not us? We can certainly win this thing," said shortstop Bob Tracy. |
