5-Hit Game for Gordon Wednesday, April 21st , 2055 Will Gordon exploded for a barrage of base hits at Ballpark of Dayton HS. The Sarcoxie HS third baseman had a field day in his team's 18-2 triumph over the Dayton HS Paladins, finishing 5-for-7. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Gordon must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Will Gordon singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Will Moser in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Carlos Díaz in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
