After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Oxnard HS has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," closer Tony Hernández said wistfully. The Sailfish are still searching for their first playoff appearance. They haven't made the playoffs in all 17 years of their history. |
