Doyle Rocks Trojans for 3 HRs Wednesday, April 21st , 2055 Wilde Lake shortstop Drew Doyle blasted three homers at Ballpark of Sterling HS in the 12-5 Wildecats victory over the Jeffersonville HS Trojans. For the game, Drew Doyle scored 4 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Doyle when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-3, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Doyle told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Drew Doyle hit a solo-shot off Ernest Holder in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ernest Holder in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Stone in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This season, Doyle has delivered 12 hits in 35 at-bats for a .343 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .511 clip and his totals also include 11 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
