Peck Hit Streak Soars to 30 Games Friday, April 30th , 2055 Bishop Verot HS first baseman Wes Peck keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 30 games after collecting 1 hit at Threshers Ballpark. The Mudcats earned the 10-5 victory over the Broken Arrow HS Threshers. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Peck said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Wes Peck walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. In this current campaign Peck is hitting at a .379 clip with 10 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
