Top 8 Round Goes the Distance, Aurora HS Prevails Monday, May 19th , 2053 It was a rousing finish to the Top 8 Round at Black Bears Ballpark today. The Aurora HS Black Bears sent the Rockford HS Astros home for the season with a 7-4 win in the decisive game of the series. The Black Bears took the series 3-2. Up next on their schedule is the Top 4 Round. Hauling in the MVP trophy was Aurora HS second baseman Nolan Ash. His numbers included a .429 batting average, 1 RBIs and 5 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Top 4 Round," he said. The Aurora HS Black Bears will play against the Saint Paul HS Ragin Cajuns in the next round.
