Oceanside HS Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Wednesday, May 5th , 2055 It's a better-luck-next-year situation for the Oceanside HS Pirates, as the club today became mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration. Team manager Joe Smith said, "It's always a letdown" to miss the playoffs, but added that the club's effort was appreciated. The Pirates have missed the playoffs 39 times in their 43 years as a High School Stars League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 24th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2031. |
