Top 4 Round Goes the Distance, Aurora HS Prevails Tuesday, May 27th , 2053 In a series that had a little bit of everything, the Aurora HS Black Bears have edged the Saint Paul HS Ragin Cajuns. The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Top 4 Round, with a 8-7 win in the clincher being the difference for Aurora HS and giving them the ticket to the HS Title Round with a 3-2 series triumph. "We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Jeffrey Long, who was named series MVP. For the series, Long hit .455 with a .478 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Aurora HS Black Bears will play against the Wichita HS Parrots in the next round. Wichita HS won their series against the Des Moines HS Rockies 3 games to 1.
