Wednesday, June 14th , 2051
At the age of 15, Brody O'Connell says he still has a lot to learn about life in High School Stars League.

But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2051 High School CL Reliever of the Year Award.

"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the
Val-d'Or, Canada native said.

For the season, O'Connell had 7 saves in 13 relief appearances, which totaled 24. He fanned 27 betters, while walking 12 and put up a record of 2-1 to go with his 0.75 ERA.

He received 42 first place votes out of a possible 60. Micheal Burnell of the Evans HS Knights finished second in voting with 18 first place votes, while Juan Pérez of the Loomis Chaffee Pelicans finished third.
