2051 HSNL Outstanding Pitcher Award Chosen Saturday, June 17th , 2051 High School NL hitters didn't have much of a chance in the 2051 season when the North Las Vegas HS manager wrote "Raúl Rivera" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, he held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 4-2 mark and 2.15 ERA in 9 starts, tossed 71 innings, fanned 83 and held opposing teams to a .216 average. For his superb season Rivera was today named the HSNL Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He received 35 first place votes out of a possible 60. Alan Brem of the Buchanan HS Wizards finished second in voting with 18 first place votes, while Tim Harris of the North Las Vegas HS Marauders finished third with 1 first place vote.
