Summit Move on to Top 4 Round Monday, May 17th , 2055 The dream of raising a championship banner in Grand Rapids HS took a big step forward today. The Grand Rapids HS Summit have won the Top 8 Round, eliminating the Des Moines HS Rockies to advance to the Top 4 Round. Grand Rapids HS won the final game 17-14 and the series 3-1. Jesse Díaz was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .500 with a .545 on-base percentage. He drove in 6 RBI, had 3 home runs and scored 7 runs. The Grand Rapids HS Summit don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Newport News HS Paints - Shelby HS Rockets series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
