High School NL Names Top Player Sunday, June 18th , 2051 The future looks extremely bright for Justin Burns. At the age of 17, many players are still trying to find their way in High School Stars League. Burns has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the High School NL Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .392 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said. The Butler HS Tornado star also put up a .500 on-base percentage this year, with 56 hits, 12 doubles, 1 triple, 11 home runs, 36 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 60. Jason Edgar of the Buchanan HS Wizards finished second in voting with 23 first place votes, while Vincent Guy of the Buchanan HS Wizards finished third with 1 first place vote.
