20 Games in a Row for Sprague Sunday, May 7th , 2056 Temiskaming District Secondary School first baseman Jeff Sprague keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits at Ballpark of Bethlehem HS. The Saints earned the 6-4 victory over the Bishop Gorman HS Crusaders. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Sprague said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Jeff Sprague struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off John Brooks in the 5th, walked in the 7th and was hit by a pitch in the 8th. This year, Sprague has hit at a .396 clip with 28 RBIs, 6 home runs and 41 runs scored. |
