Carpenter Rips Terra Linda HS for 5 Hits Thursday, April 21st , 2050 Dan Carpenter was at the head of a Randall HS hit parade today at Trawlers Ballpark. The left fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Raiders to a 19-2 victory over the Terra Linda HS Trojans. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Carpenter told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Trojans skipper Ken Bullard said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Dan Carpenter struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Scott Lalonde in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Nathan O'Ryan in the 8th.
