Season May Be Over for Mudcats Collier Tuesday, April 26th , 2050 The season is finished for Ken Collier of the Bishop Verot HS Mudcats. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Mudcats reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Fresno HS Red Wings. Team doctors said it would take at least 8-9 months to heal. This season Collier has nailed down 1 save with 5 strikeouts in 11.2 innings. He is credited with no wins and no losses and has a 2.31 earned run average. |
