Season Ends for Ismael Durán of Spring Valley HS Friday, April 29th , 2050 Ismael Durán of the Bombers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 16-year-old Spring Valley HS starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Fresno HS Red Wings recently at Red Wings Ballpark. Durán suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Bombers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6 months. On the year Durán has worked 50.2 innings with 49 strikeouts en route to a 4-1 record and 2.84 ERA. |
