Danila Joins 3-HR Club Thursday, April 2nd , 2054 St. Louis HS left fielder Alecu Danila blasted three homers at As Ballpark in the 14-9 White Sox victory over the Plumstead Christian HS Panthers. For the game, Alecu Danila scored 4 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Danila when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-3, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Danila told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
