The Math Says - Warriors Out of Playoffs Monday, May 2nd , 2050 It won't be a season to remember for the Brookline HS Warriors, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Warriors were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2050 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Brookline HS closer Justin Knowles. The Warriors have missed the playoffs 34 times in their 38 years as a High School Stars League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2048. In the last 10 seasons, the Warriors have missed the playoffs 8 times. Brookline HS last won the HS Title Round in 2033. |
