Season Possibly Over for Alvin Moreno Saturday, May 3rd, 2036 The doctors have spoken and Alvin Moreno of the Otsego HS Bulldogs didn't like what he heard. The 17-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Moreno sustained his season-ending injury during the Spring Valley HS Bombers game yesterday at Metropolitans Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Otsego HS medical staff reported Moreno had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7-8 months. |
