The Math Says - Temiskaming District Secondary School Out of Playoffs Saturday, May 7th , 2050 Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints closer Brody O'Connell said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2050 postseason contention. The Saints have missed the playoffs 29 times in their 38 years as a High School Stars League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2048. In the last 10 seasons, the Saints have made the playoffs 3 times. Temiskaming District Secondary School last won the HS Title Round in 2020. |
