Mike Thomas Lost for Season Sunday, April 12th , 2054 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Summit when after today's game against the Cougars, the club found out they would be without the services of Mike Thomas for at least 5-6 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Thomas was injured earlier today being hit by a pitch and suffered a broken kneecap. This season, Thomas is batting .302 with 16 hits, 6 home runs, 12 RBIs, 11 walks, .439 OBP and has scored 12 runs. He has played in 15 games. |
