Top 8 Round Goes the Distance, Jeffersonville HS Prevails Saturday, May 21st , 2050 A classic and dramatic Top 8 Round has wrapped up, with the Jeffersonville HS Trojans outlasting the Fort Worth HS Turkeys to advance to the Top 4 Round. Jeffersonville HS won the final game by a score of 10-1 and took the series 3-2. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Jeffersonville HS center fielder Darryl Alford, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Alford hit .591 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Jeffersonville HS Trojans will play against the Evans HS Knights in the next round.
