Plumstead Christian HS Loses Battle for Year Friday, April 24th , 2054 The season is ending on a bad note for Ken Battle, starting pitcher for the Plumstead Christian HS Panthers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Battle was hurt against the Buchanan HS Wizards while throwing a pitch. He suffered shoulder inflammation and will be out for at least 4 months. So far this season, Battle has logged a 4-1 record with a 2.03 ERA. He has started 6 games, hurled 48.2 innings and registered 67 strikeouts and 13 walks. |
