The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2047. In total, the Red Wings have missed the playoffs 26 times in their 31-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Red Wings have only made the playoffs once. |
