Gordon Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Wednesday, May 6th , 2054 Will Gordon's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Sarcoxie HS. The 16-year-old third baseman extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-5 performance against the Masconomet HS Chiefs. The Bears won the game, 8-5. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Will Gordon flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Matt Dixon in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. In the 2054 season Gordon is hitting .459 with 14 home runs. |
