Playoffs Won't Happen for Marauders Friday, May 8th , 2054 That they came exceptionally close to qualifying for the playoffs will likely provide little solace for fans of the North Las Vegas HS Marauders -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "I don't expect the fans to be happy with us," said Marauders starting pitcher Sam George. "We're not happy with ourselves." North Las Vegas HS last appeared in the postseason in 2051. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 20-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Marauders have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
