Trojans Win Top 8 Round Wednesday, May 20th , 2054 In an exciting Top 8 Round that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is High School Stars League fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Jeffersonville HS Trojans, who edged the Bryant HS Hornets 3-2 to advance to the Top 4 Round. Jeffersonville HS won the final game by a 14-3 count to wrap up the series. Jerome Douglas earned series MVP honors, by hitting .571 with a .654 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Jeffersonville HS Trojans will play against the Bishop Verot HS Mudcats in the next round.
