Poore Homers 3 Times Against Fort Worth HS Saturday, April 1st , 2051 Victor Poore went yard three times in a Otsego HS Bulldogs victory over the Fort Worth HS Turkeys at Metropolitans Stadium today. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Otsego HS left fielder went 3-for-4 against Fort Worth HS with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Bulldogs to the 11-8 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Victor Poore hit a solo-shot off Carlos Robinson in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Carlos Robinson in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Bill Martin in the 7th. |
