Burns Boosts Hit Streak to 30 Games Wednesday, April 2nd , 2053 The hitting streak for Montgomery HS left fielder Robbie Burns now stands at 30 games, but the Spikes dropped today's contest 8-2 to the Colorado Springs HS 76ers. Burns went 1-for-3 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Robbie Burns grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Todd Hanson in the 4th and grounded out in the 6th. So far this season, Burns has put up a .409 batting average with 9 hits, 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
