Hits Blitz for Pelicans Johnson Tuesday, April 4th , 2051 Jason Johnson punished the John Jay HS Patriots today, leading the Pelicans to a 9-4 win. In doing so, Johnson hit for the cycle, tagging the Patriots for 4 hits in 5 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the Loomis Chaffee second baseman said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes." Johnson also had 5 runs batted in and 4 runs scored in the game at Ghosts Ballpark. Jason Johnson flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Esteban Marés in the 9th.
