Howells Pitches 3-0 Shutout for Jeffersonville HS Thursday, April 29th , 2049 The Fort Worth HS Turkeys met their match today in Jeffersonville HS hurler Carl Howells. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 6-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Fort Worth HS skipper Marvin Taylor said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 3-0 victory, Howells whiffed 10 and gave up 3 walks.
