Berry 5-for-6 Against Shelby HS Tuesday, April 11th , 2051 Jeff Berry put on a hitting clinic today at Havoc Stadium, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Shelby HS pitchers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Santa Fe HS Chiefs, who still fell, 15-14. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Berry told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." Jeff Berry struck out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Kenny Stafford in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
